Atkinson's Tavern moved from Prescott, Mass to be part of Storrowton Village Museum on the grounds of the Eastern States Exposition.

Built in 1789 by revolutionary war veteran John Atkinson, it served for many years as a residence, store and tavern.
Before the Prescott townhouse was built, dances and town meetings took place in the hall upstairs, which was the largest hall in town.
Featuring beautiful woodwork, several fireplaces, granite hitching post linked by iron chain and original handcrafted windows. Some original features such as the green store shelves and granite sink can be found in the Gilbert Farm house on the Storrowton grounds.
